Purpose Pairing together two fantasitc rats with rich, bold Fawn coloration, good conformation and super sweet temperaments to help solidly establish our Fawn line and get it jump-started in the right direction. Skidaddle took Best Agouti Buck at the 2009 RFL Fall Show. Imma Be took Best Provisional at the 2009 RFL Fall Show. |
Comments Imma Be had a super fast and easy delivery although the pups were severely bruised. The pups are a day or two behind in development due to their bodies putting so much energy towards healing their injuries rather than toward their growth. Imma is doing a great job in her new role as "mom" and can often be found covering her pups with the nearest article -- paper towels, paper plates, bowls... she does NOT want them to be cold! Update July 16 - Pups are slowly catching up but some remain a couple days behind in development. They all finally have their coats in and peepers are appearing! I have a pretty good idea as far as my keepers go and will likely have 2 females available to an approved home. Update July 22 - The pups are now 3.5wks old. Just before their third week birthday we lost DAZL Take Cear Bear (a keeper) to uncertain circumstances. There were no outward symptoms or issues present. We are saddened by the loss but are moving forward with the rest of the litter. The rest of the littermates are doing well. Update August 3 - The pups are 5 weeks old and doing well. Champ is currently the largest of the group and Funshine is the busybody. Update August 16 - Pups are 7 weeks old and almost ready to go home! |
